Welcome to the 2021 Summer Institute on Equity in the Academic Experience! 

Each day follows a rhythm of Provocations (whole institute gatherings to spur conversation), Panels (three-at-a-time with both external experts and participating teams to allow for focused exploration of topics*), Office Hours (external speakers will be available for small group consultations), and Team Time (reserved for your team to work on your chosen problem). Each panel prompts participants to consider the life cycle of ethical and inclusive data practices, including who might be involved in data gathering, strategies for the collection of relevant data, collective opportunities for analysis, and the process of sharing data strategically in order to enact change.
